 The Sketchbook Project vol.3

I just sent off my sketchbook to Art House in Atlanta to go on exhibit. Art House is taking a collective couple thousand sketchbooks made by artists from all over the world. The sketchbooks go on a 6 city tour to galleries and museums across the U.S. Unfortunately I was terribly rushed into completing mine. With working two jobs I had to cram the art onto the pages with such little time. (kicking myself) I totally thought after the holidays I was going to have less time at work. Up Coming Show at Jazz Bones in Tacoma

| I have a show coming up in August at Jazz Bones in Tacoma. I have new paintings that will be on display. Three of which I had done live in this year at previous shows. One was from the Art synergy show at Hells Kitchen, one from the Urban Arts pre-funk party at Jazz bones and the other from The Urban arts Festival. These are my special Tacoma paintings that I have been working on since then and they are looking very nice! Can't wait to see them exhibited at Jazz Bones. |

Sinsastional Party

I was invited to do some body art on a nude at the Sinsational Party February 14 at The Mad Hat in Tacoma. It was a private event that had a pretty good turn out. Dance performance, kissing booth and DJs and a bit of casual dancing. This was the very first time ever I painted on a body and it turned out better thatn I thought and I used finger paint! If I do it again I will use latex body paint, tres cool.

The art from Abract Synergy at Hells Kitchen that took place February 6th 2008. This was done in one hour BUT this painting is not completed. Wednesday the 6th of February 2008 I will be at Hell Kitchen in Tacoma, WA. I will take the stage with 3 other artists to paint free form accompanied by a Dj and mayhaps a fellow getting down on his guitar. Show starts at 9:30 This is the very first time I will be collaborating with other artists on one painting. At least I think it is one painting. It's very free form. |

Mar 22 2008 - 9:00pm I will be at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle showing my art for an evening. Basically it's a dance party featuring 3 artists, two from Tacoma!! Hope to see you there!!  |
